Meet Our Prime Wrestling Coaches
JAKOB RESTREPO | Head Coach
Coach Lievano, from Stony Brook, New York, competed for Ward Melville High School. His father, formerly head coach of Hampton Bays Varsity Wrestling Team, is now an assistant coach at Ward Melville. Coach Lievano’s wrestling journey began in high school, progressing from JV to a County Championship and placing third in New York State as a senior. He attended the University at Buffalo before transferring to Sacred Heart University, where he started and captained the Pioneers Division One Wrestling Team.
RAF LIEVANO | Assistant Coach
Jakob Restrepo has made a significant impact in wrestling coaching. He developed his skills at Vougar’s Honors Wrestling Club in Syosset with world champion Vougar Oroudjov. Jakob furthered his experience with NCAA D3 All-American Carlos Restrepo at Sachem 3 Style Wrestling Club and NCAA D1 All-American Mike Patrovich at Barn Brothers Wrestling Club. He also served as Assistant Varsity Coach at Sachem High School East for two years and now continues to excel in East Islip.
